Favorites | Spring nail polishes

Hi!

Today I've decided to show you my favorite nail polishes for spring! Lately I've been liking lighter colors despite still loving the mint green (one of my all time favorites!).

            Although I have nail polishes from different brands, the ones that last longer without chipping are from Essie. This is my favorite brand, besides being great they have an amazing variety of colors! Each season, Essie launches limited edition colors which you can find at feelunique.com.

         As for the OPI brand, despite not having many nail polishes from the brand, the ones I have, I quite like.

           I must say that I love cute nail polish names! Often it is due to this that I fall in love with a color!

Essie Mint Candy Apple is a bestseller from the brand and with reason! Is the perfect mint green.

OPI Alpine Snow or any opaque white, is an essential to every person that likes nail polishes. Personally, I think that the opaque white is perfect for any skin tone and gives the nails a sophisticated look.

Essie Fiji is my personal favorite! This is my second bottle and that never happens! Besides being difficult to spend the whole polish without it drying, usually I like to invest in new colors.

Essie Sand Tropez is the perfect nude! It is not too brown and it looks the best in tanned skin.

Favoritos | Vernizes para a Primavera

Olá!

Hoje decidi mostrar-vos os meus vernizes favoritos para a Primavera! Ultimamente tenho andado a gostar de cores claras mas sem nunca desprezar o verde menta (um dos meus favoritos em qualquer estação!).

Apesar de ter vernizes de várias marcas, os que se mantêm mais tempo na unha sem lascar são mesmo os da Essie. Esta marca é a minha favorita, além de serem óptimos têm uma variedade de cores inigualável! A cada estação, a Essie lança vernizes com cores de edição limitada mas, infelizmente, estas não chegam às lojas portuguesas mas podem encontrá-los em feelunique.com. Para os vernizes da colecção permanente, vendem-se no El Corte Ingles, Pluricosmética, Douglas, etc e o preço varia entre 8 a 10€.

Quanto à marca OPI, apesar de não ter muitos vernizes da marca, gosto bastante dos que tenho. Vendem-se na Perfumes & Companhia e o preço ronda os 14€.

Devo dizer que adoro vernizes com nomes giros! Muitas vezes é devido a isso que me apaixono por uma cor!

O Essie Mint Candy Apple é um dos bestsellers da marca e com motivos. É o verde menta perfeito.

O OPI Alpine Snow ou qualquer branco opaco, é um essencial para qualquer pessoa que goste de manicure. Pessoalmente, acho que fica bem em qualquer tom de pele e dá um ar muito sofisticado às unhas.

O Essie Fiji é o meu favorito pessoal! Esta é o segundo que compro e isso nunca acontece! Além de ser difícil gastar na totalidade um verniz sem ele secar, normalmente gosto de investir em cores novas.

O Essie Sand Tropez é o nude perfeito! Não é demasiado acastanhado e fica principalmente bem em peles mais morenas.

Tutorial | Simple Smokey Eye

Hi!

Today I have decided to show you how to make an extremely simple smokey eye that takes no more than five minutes!

I started by appllying a cream eyeshadow. These eyeshadows are very easy to use and they don’t need to be appllied with a lot of precision. Mine is by the brand Oriflame, but it is a few years old. However, Maybelline has the line Color Tattoo that are pretty much the same.

  After applying the eyeshadow is necessary to blend it out in order to avoid harsh lines. To do that, I used the key element in a smokey eye which is a blending brush(the brushes I use in this tutorial are a few years old, but you can find amazing brushes in stores like Sephora).

I blended the product in back and forward motions for a few seconds. I also added some of the eyeshadow near my bottom lashes.

You can leave it like this if you wish, but I decided to add a little bit of black. I applied a black pencil by Bourjois called Khôl & Contour in the colour Ultra Black near my upper lash line. I wasn’t precise with it because I blended it out with a brush upwards to create a subtle transition from black to brown. I also added the black pencil on my waterline.

In the end I used a volumizing mascara on my up top and bottom lashes.

It is a very easy smokey eye that anybody can recreate! You can change any of the products or colors by the ones you have or prefer.
